Money, Anxiety, and Relationships for Business Owners- presented by Brittany Hunter, Emily Kaptein, Cheryl Paberzs, Cameron DunfordDate/Time: June 04, 2019 / 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Many of us feel anxious talking about money, yet these conversations are vital in creating thriving relationships in both your personal and professional lives. The therapists from Dynamic Healing will discuss suggestions for effective self-care, proactive communication, understanding the meaning of the money, and from where we’ve learned our money habits. We will also address the intersecting layers of identity between owning a small business and your family, including work-family-life balance.
Cameron from Varra Financial will discuss how your emotions affect your investment decisions. Most business owners’ largest asset is their business and he will discuss proper ways to protect and grow this asset. We hope to help others gain valuable perspectives for good financial and personal habits. https://www.varrafinancial.com
Dynamic Healing is a group practice of couples and family therapists who work right upstairs from arielMIS. They are friends turned business partners, having met in graduate school at the University of Oregon. They are dedicated to helping their clients build healthy relationships with themselves and others and are committed to giving back to the community and being a part of the progressive change to reduce the stigma that surrounds mental health. As a group they all see individuals, couples and families and each have their own passions: Emily specializes in eating disorders, disordered eating, anxiety and relationship therapy; Brittany’s specializations are grief and loss, strong-willed teens, and professional coaching; and Cheryl’s is sex and intimacy concerns and running social-skill building groups utilizing the game Dungeons and Dragons. www.dynamichealingtherapy.com
