Microsoft Office Tips
- Excel – Use CTRL-D to duplicate the data from the cell above you have selected. You can highlight multiple cells to fill them all too! Click here to see a demonstration
- Word –
- On your toolbar, click the right corner to access the advanced features for that section
- Outlook – No matter what you’re looking at in Outlook press CTRL+SHIFT+M to start a new message. Press CTRL-Enter to send it!
- If your Office Applications are on your Taskbar, right click the Office application icon to see your list of recent files. Click the file to open it. Or right click on the file for other things you can do!
Favorite Windows 10 Keyboard Shortcuts.
Press the Windows Key +
+ TAB – Displays all of your open windows. Click one to bring it to the front.
+ Left or Right Arrow Key will move the current window to the right of screen and ask you which window you would like to display on the left. Great tool for putting two windows side-by-side.
+ Start typing what you’re looking for. A fast way to find file, apps and more!
+ L – Lock your computer. You should use this whenever you walk away from your computer. This only works if you login to your computer with a password
+ D to minimize all of your open windows and display your desktop.
